Gen¹³ is about a group of kids with superpowers inherited from their parents. Their fathers were part of a superpowered special-forces team known as Team 7. The members of Gen¹³ were originally recruited into Project Genesis, part of International Operations (I.O.; a branch of the national security council) to become the super-powered army of Miles Craven, then director of I.O. With the help of I.O. officer and former Team 7 member, John Lynch, they escaped Project Genesis and went to live in Southern California. But, it was only a matter of time before they were found and forced to flee. After a series of adventures, including a short period in New York, the team now lives on a small island, hiding from I.O. and its new director, Ivana Baiul. Gen¹³ is made up of: Caitlin Fairchild - the brains of the group with super-strength, speed and endurance, also the leader; Roxxanne Spaulding - the youngest member of the group with the power to control gravity; Robert Lane - a troubled member of the group with the power to control fire; Sarah Rainmaker - as her name sugests, she controls the weather; and Percival "Grunge" Chang - the most unique member of the group with the ability to match the molecular structure of any object that he touches.
